Preah Ko

This was one of the first major temples of the empire in the early Khmer capital. Preah Ko’s name “Sacred Bull” derives from the statues of bulls at the front of the central towers

Bakong

This is a sandstone temple and around the temple you can see the local village. Lighting is best in the evening. This temple sits at the centre of the first Khmer capital, Hariharalaya. Combine this with a visit to Bakong and Preah Ko.

Lolei
