Leaving aside history, which is ever changing anyway, what about speaking to the people themselves, and how they feel, and what they feel is being done to them? I taught English to Tibetan refugees and they gave me personal first hand experiences. Why are so many Tibetans fleeing the country they love? Why are they being shot as they try to cross the border into what they feel is freedom? Why are their protests at Chinese rule causing untold numbers of their people to be killed and tortured? How dare you extoll China when these atrocities are being committed!
